The workshop
Services on this website are offered by Hassi Electronics, 17 Loke Road, King’s Lynn, Norfolk, PE30 2AY. Contact 01553 769567 or kle@engineer.com. Opening hours are Monday–Saturday 9am–6pm and Sunday 9am–4pm. Please call before travelling.
Assessment & your agreement
Initial diagnostics and callouts are offered free of charge. Confirm suitability and availability for your device and location. The workshop explains the proposed work and repair cost before you decide.
Preparing an enquiry or opening an email draft does not create a booking or repair agreement. Submitting a repair-account request also does not confirm an appointment. In the account, a repair agreement is made when you accept the workshop’s issued quote and its stated work, price and terms. Payment alone does not reserve an appointment.
Quotes & payment
The individual quote identifies the proposed service, price and any applicable taxes or additional agreed costs. Ask for anything unclear to be explained before agreeing the work. Changes to the proposed scope or cost should be discussed with you before additional work proceeds.
No fix, no fee applies to repairs: if your device cannot be repaired, we do not charge you for a repair. Ask the workshop how this applies to the specific work being discussed. Where online account payment is available, PayPal handles payment for the accepted quote. Payment status is confirmed with PayPal; returning to the website alone does not prove payment. Contact the workshop about refunds or a payment concern.
Timing & your device
Model, condition, fault, workload and suitable parts affect what can be repaired and how long it takes. A completion time is discussed after assessment. A website enquiry does not guarantee same-day service.
Keep an independent backup of important data where possible and discuss data or access needs before work begins. Do not send account passwords by email. Agree which accessories to bring and confirm arrangements before sending equipment to the workshop.
Repair warranty & concerns
Repair work includes a three-month warranty. Ask about the cover for your particular repair and keep your paperwork. Contact the workshop promptly if you have a concern about completed work so we can discuss it with you.
Your statutory consumer rights are unaffected. Services must be carried out with reasonable care and skill, and any remedies required by applicable consumer law remain available.
Cancellation & changes
Contact the workshop if you wish to cancel or change an agreed service. Give your name, the device or service details and the date of the agreement so the team can identify it.
For most consumer service contracts agreed online or by phone, you generally have 14 days beginning the day after the agreement to cancel without giving a reason. Applicable weekend and bank-holiday extensions and legal exceptions apply. This legal cancellation period does not generally apply to agreements made at the workshop.
If you want work to start during that cancellation period, the workshop will seek your express request. If you then cancel after work has started, a proportionate amount may be payable for work carried out, where the law permits and the required information was provided. The cancellation right can end when the service is fully performed if you expressly requested early performance and acknowledged that consequence.
You may use the cancellation template, but you do not have to. A clear statement by email or post is sufficient. Applicable refunds and cancellation rights follow consumer law; these terms do not remove those rights.
A question before you decide?
